Reaction Paper about the "ROBO FIESTA"

Say “HELLO!” to our modern world

Texting, researching, online gaming and a lot more that spell our technology nowadays. Today, where our technology have developed and expand until it became complicated.

I do realized that maybe half of the country’s population could not live without their cell phones, laptops, ipods and even PSP’s anymore. I said YES! Our technology today is really different from the past generations.

In a today’s world even kids ages 3 and above knows how to operate their gadgets and they even know better than the elders. That’s what I realized last Saturday at the “ROBO FIESTA”. Long ago, Filipinos are only dreaming creating a robot and they never thought that it would happen. But now, robots with different features a re coming. Robots that can walk, talk, dance sing or act like a human these robots are called “humanoids”.

But do we realize whether these robots are good or bad for us? Looking at the right side, we all know that robots can make our life more convenient. Lets now look at the bad side, because of this of robots that are invented low employment rate had began. Few people are needed by those companies, just enough to operate those robots. Well, by this time we could not say whether it is good or bad not only for us but also for country and other aspects in life.

Last Saturday, was a great experience seeing lots of robots. Robots that I could only see in televisions and computers before. I also feel glad because I had that great opportunity. But it would be better if I myself could make robots. I hope it would happen again next time.

structural comparison between camera and human eye

Similarities

Both the aperture and the pupil function as the opening for light to enter.

The diaphragm controls the size of the aperture while the iris muscles control the size of the pupil which controls the amount of light entering the camera or the eye.

There are photosensitive chemicals on the film and photoreceptors (rods & cones) in the retina where in the object of light action to form an image.

The camera has a dark internal surface and the Human Eye has a pigmented, dark choroid which absorbs excessive light to prevent multiple images formation.

Difference

The difference between a camera and a human eye is their focusing mechanism where in the camera changes the distance between the lens and the film while the human eye changes the focal length of lens using the ciliary muscles.
